Silvine Farnell has been taking people
deeper into poetry for over thirty years, first for twenty years as a professor of literature, and more recently in her work
with book clubs, homeschooled children, poetry therapists, teachers, and just plain people who want to deepen their experience
of poetry. She has twice been a featured presenter at the annual conference of the National Association of Poetry Therapists,
and she hosts a weekly poetry show on the Radio Reading Service of the Rockies called Voices of Silence.
"Silvine Marbury Farnell's passion for poetry is contagious.
This is a brilliant, welcoming, and magnificently alive facilitator, whose insights help to reveal the many levels of meaning
and beauty in a poem. She is uniquely suited to turning the reading, creation, and performance of poetry into a healing and
inspiring—possibly even transfiguring—experience."
Nancy Berg, poet, author of Oracles
for Night-Blooming Eccentrics
"Silvine has a gift for conveying her boundless passion for
poetry in a manner that everyone can relate to, learn from, and feel at a very profound level. You will leave her workshop
feeling and hearing the words of poems from a newly discovered place deep within you."

"Silvine is a natural-born teacher, and to me a natural teacher/way shower without ego is a
gift more precious than gold."
